What this site stores
The short version: nothing about you, and nothing about your tattoo. The calculator runs entirely in your browser.
What we do not collect
- No account, no sign-up, no email address.
- No uploads. There is no field for a design, a photo, or a reference image, and the site never asks for one.
- No name, no date of birth, no location permission.
- No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
- No cross-site tracking of any kind.
What stays on your device
Two things, both local, both yours:
- Your theme choice. If you switch between the paper and studio-night themes, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key
tpc-theme. Clearing your browser data removes it. - The URL. The only state this calculator keeps is in the address bar — the size, placement, style, rate, and city you chose. That is what makes “Copy link” work. It lives in your browser until you share the link yourself. If you paste that link somewhere, whoever opens it sees the same estimate.
Analytics
This version ships with no analytics at all. If we add measurement later, it will be a cookieless, aggregate-only tool — page counts and button presses, never an individual visitor — and this page will say so before it goes live.
Cookies
None are set. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site today. If that changes, ads will never be placed above the result or beside the calculate button, and this page will be updated first.
